Our association is focussed on all aspects of German language, literature, and culture within the context of higher education and scholarly research in Canada. Our membership comprises, yet is not limited to, literary, media, cultural, and linguistic studies, as derived from the German-speaking countries, regions, and communities in Europe and worldwide. We are open to cross-disciplinary proposals, and typically offer keynote lectures and joint panels with other associations; in 2017 this will be the case with medieval, gender, and comparative literary studies.
