Our Time to Lead

Ryerson University’s bold Academic Plan - Our Time To Lead - builds on Ryerson’s proud traditions and expands the university’s strengths for relevant programs and scholarly, research, and creative (SRC) activities. The plan provides a foundation for the university to reach its strategic direction by focussing on the following academic priorities:

Ryerson Research

With an average annual increase of 14 per cent over the last five years, research funding at Ryerson is growing rapidly. Our researchers solve real-world problems, using collaborative research methods, and partnering with industry, government, and not-for-profit organizations to improve processes, develop new technologies and services, and create new companies and social enterprises. Innovations developed by Ryerson researchers improve Canadian businesses, create jobs, and improve quality of life. Research at the university is focused on the following themes:
